Bristol antique glass enameled perfume scent decanter bottle
Victorian Bristol Glass Manufactured in the late 19th century, Victorian Bristol glass is appreciated for its delicately hand-painted botanical motifs; the more finely executed the decoration, the more desirable the piece.
Victorian Bristol glass catches the eyes of all serious collectors and lovers of Victorian Bristol glass. Each piece is adorned with intricate, hand-rendered designs that distinguish these wares. Large quantities of the mold blown, semi-opaque glass were manufactured throughout Europe and exported to North America. One of the most prolific manufacturing centers was Bohemia. Flowers and foliage are the most common motifs; birds and insects are harder to find. One of the most important factors affecting value is the skill level of the decoration, expertly painted pieces are really gorgeous.
