McCoy Smiley Face Cookie Jar

This bright sunshine yellow cookie jar is marked McCoy and called the "Happy Face" jar. The Happy Face line features the recognizable "Happy" - "Smiley" face that was extremely popular in the 70's. The line consisted of cookie jars, mugs, plates, bowls, piggy banks and planters. Most of the Happy Face line was yellow in color with black for eyes and mouth. This whimsical McCoy cookie jar with its wide grin and "Have a Happy Day" slogan is sure to put a smile on your face every time you look at it. I don't feel like this description does justice to this memorabilia fun piece - the photographs show this piece beautifully.

The Happy Face Line used variations of the popular 1940-45 McCoy mark, with "USA" below it. Other marks include LLC (Lancaster Colony, accompanied by the popular "McCoy" markand a number.
