Vintage Black Beaded Purse Faux Tortoise Celluloid Frame & Chain

All original celluloid frame with celluloid link chain, clasp working well and no warping. This original beaded bag complements the faux tortoise shell celluloid frame beautifully with its black glass beads and lush beaded fringe. The push down clasp opens to reveal a beautiful black lining with a change pocket feature, still completely intact. The lining has a colorful original French ribbon work along the top edges adding a touch of whimsy to this elegant purse.

Overall appearance is excellent. There appears to be no major damage. Shows appropriate age and wear but nothing significant to note. Will make a nice addition to your antique purse collection.

Approximate measurements: 9 1/2 inches long from top of frame to the bottom beaded loops. Width of celluloid frame is 6 inches across with a 2-1/2 inches celluloid frame on both sides. The hinge is 1-1/2 inches across the same area. Spread out, the entire purse from link chain to fringe it is approximately 15 inches long.
