Vintage 20th Century, Italian, art glass free-form ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This stunning circa. 1950/60’s art glass piece has a beautiful red color and the exterior has a profusion of silver flex inclusions shimmering throughout. Then, this gorgeous art glass piece is encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian Sommerso Technique. This red and silver beauty has pulled lobes and is folded in on all five sides to form a wonderful organic free-form shape. Would make a definite statement displayed on your coffee table.
